This is a great example of a classic retro jug.

Blue Mountain Pottery (BMP) Canada was founded in 1953. They developed a unique trademarked glazing process known as 'reflowing decorating' where two liquid glazes, one light and one dark. These were applied during the firing process where the glazes would run creating streaked patterns unique to each piece. 

In great vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing.

Impressed with three triangular trees and the word 'CANADA' moulded in relief to base.
