Beautiful lidded pot in vibrant blue and white with gold gilt trim made exclusively by WADE potteries in 1976/1977 to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Ringtons Tea.

Based on the 'Maling' tea caddy produced in the late 1920's it shows scenes of Selby Abbey, York Minster, Durham Catherdral, The Castle (Newcastle upon Tyne), The New Tyne Bridge (Newcastle), Ripon Cathedral and Windsor Castle.

Super vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Height 9cm. Diameter 10cm.
