A very pretty embossed Fielding's Crown Devon 'Mayfield' floral pattern jug / vase.
Created by Fielding's & Co Ltd at Devon Pottery, Stoke in the 1930s (Fielding's closed in 1981).
Bright and bold, this lovely jug is Art Deco in design, the body has a mottled orange surface with a green band around the base. The handle is designed like a stem or branch and the dainty spring flowers are yellow, orange, purple and red and sit beautifully on a raised stem with green leaves.
The jug is decorated on both sides.
It's marked on the base with a printed stamp, 'Made in England, Crown Devon' and the base is impressed 445 Circa 1920-1939 also has pattern number 5027.
An adorable little jug which will be sure to brighten up any space in your home.
