This handmade and hand painted monochrome plate is a striking example of Eric Leaper Newlyn Pottery.

This rare and distinctive piece, beautifully decorated with dancing horses is signed on the reverse by the artist and is quite fascinating.

Eric Leaper moved to Newlyn, Cornwall in 1954, where he started the pottery known as Leaper, Newlyn and his striking designs brought him great success during the 1960’s making his work highly collectable today.

Perfect for monochrome interiors, this plate wools make a perfect eye-catching piece for shelf styling or as a stand alone piece.

This stunning plate is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. No chips, cracks or restoration.
